This cartoon was originally published in the Rhodes Journalism Review. It was later adapted and published on the 27th May 1997 in the Sowetan.

[a-z]n this cartoon, Zapiro shows Archbishop Desmond Tutu at the edge of a cliff called "Truth". Behind Tutu are a group of reporters, along with a perpetrater and a victim in a wheelchair. Across the gaping chasm, there is another cliff — this time called "Reconciliation". Clutching an empty map, Tutu utters one word: "Oops!". Is it feasable for a victim of heinous crimes to forgive the perpetrater of such?
