Description & Background
Democratic Alliance (DA) requests the Human Rights Commission to publish their findings concerning the controversial construction of open toilets in ANC-run Moqhaka municipality, in the Free State. This comes after the Cape High Court ordered the DA-run city to enclose 1316 open-air toilets in Makhaza, Khayelitsha in the Western Cape. ANC's Gwede Mantashe admits that they were not aware that the ANC municipality had also built open toilets.
